I am a Mohawk from Akwesasne. I received both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from St. Lawrence University. In 2002, I earned a B.A. in Sociology and in 2006 earned my M. Ed. in Counseling and Human Development.
I began working at SLU in the summer of 2004 as Assistant Director for the Community Based Learning Programs. In 2009, I become Director of Community Based Learning Partnerships at the Center for Civic Engagement. In this capacity, I work with various community agencies and organizations, developing opportunities for SLU students to be civically engaged citizens. I also work closely with the Akwesasne community, affording SLU students the same opportunities to learn and serve under the context of another culture.
