Inauguration Schedule of Events

This is a tentative schedule of events and is subject to change.

Inauguration Welcome Center

Friday, 1 – 8:30 p.m.; Saturday, 7 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The Dolan Family Lobby, Appleton Arena

Your first stop in Canton is to historic Appleton Arena to check in and receive your Inauguration Welcome Kit and weekend materials, including your nametag which is needed throughout the weekend.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 21

Reception and Dinner | 6 –9 p.m.

Invitation Only, Newell Field House

Guests are cordially invited to an evening celebrating President Morris.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 22

Continental Breakfast | 7–9 a.m.

Sullivan Student Center, Lisa Mazzola Cania M'82, P'07 Alumni Council Campus Room

Stop by the Sullivan Student Center for some coffee and breakfast treats to start your day!

Inauguration Ceremony | 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Gunnison Memorial Chapel

Be a part of St. Lawrence history, as the University and its Board of Trustees formally inaugurate its 19th president, Kathryn A. Morris.

Campus Reception | 12 – 1 p.m.

Owen D. Young Library

Join President Morris and fellow guests for a post-ceremony reception. Lunch on the go will be available.

Football: St. Lawrence Saints vs. Hobart Statesmen | 1 p.m.

Leckonby Stadium

Guests are invited to Leckonby Stadium as Coach Puckhaber and the Saints football team host Liberty League rival Hobart College in a conference showdown.

Women’s Soccer: St. Lawrence Saints vs. Skidmore Thoroughbreds | 3 p.m.

Sandy MacAllaster Field

The weekend’s final event heads to the pitch, where Coach McSharry and the Saints host Skidmore College in a critical Liberty League battle at Sandy MacAllaster Field.
