Graduate Student Resources
This page provides essential information and tools to help you stay organized and informed throughout your graduate studies. Access commonly used forms, key academic dates, program planning aides, and other helpful resources in one place.
Academic Tools and Resources
Quick access to planning tools, forms, and documents to help you manage your graduate coursework.
To explore available courses and plan your schedule, use APR 2.0. If your new to the system, check out the Introduction to APR 2.0 to get started.
APR stands for "academic planning and registration." Most students learn to use it as a registration system pretty quickly. Only a small proportion, though, have really learned to use it as an academic planning tool. At any time, and from anywhere, a St. Lawrence student can look at his or her APR. This means that you can check your course selections (both active and saved) during registration periods. You can look at your transcript, check your grades (midterm and final grades), and see if transfer credit has been recorded. APR is also a portal for a wide variety of academic planning forms. The better a student knows APR, the better that student will be able to map a precise academic trajectory.

Course Registration
All matriculated graduate students must register online through APR 2.0. Students cannot register outside of the open registration period.
- Prior to registering for coursework each semester, you are required to update your Emergency Contact Information, which can be done by logging in to APR 2.0 and clicking on your username in the upper right corner of the screen.
- Please take note of any prerequisites prior to submitting your course selections.
- To make changes to registration or course status. This includes adding or dropping courses, withdrawing from a course, or requesting pass/fail status.
Independent Study Courses
Opportunities for independent study are available at the graduate level with faculty sponsorship. If a course you wish to take is not offered or does not align with your schedule, independent study may be an alternative. Students must consult with their academic advisor prior to the semester in which they plan to enroll. Independent study is not typically open to non-matriculated students.
Use this unofficial planning worksheet to map out your courses, track your progress, and stay organized throughout the M.A. in Leadership program.
