Mabelin Garcia De La Rosa

Mabelin is a senior from the Bronx, New York, double majoring in neuroscience and economics. After graduation, she intends to enroll into a graduate school program to fulfill her goal of working as a medical professional. Now in her second year as an intern in the Center for Career Excellence, Mabelin works primarily on our employer engagement efforts.

Mabelin is widely involved on campus; she is a CA, a first responder for SLU EMS, the founder and president of SLU club softball and a member of La Sociedad & Carefree Black Girls. In the summer of 2020, Mabelin worked on a remote research project about racial disparities in health care as a CSTEP intern.

Outside of academics Mabelin likes to explore new places and hang out with the people she cares most about.
