Film Screening: Chronicle of a City with Nadine Gomez

The St. Lawrence University Arts Collaborative welcomes Montréal-based filmmaker and podcaster Nadine Gomez for a screening of her 2025 documentary, Chronicle of a City.

Chronicle of a City is a visual and sonic meditation on urban life and the relationship between people and the cities they inhabit. Moving between fantasy and reality, the film explores the intimate and sometimes ghostly voices of our metropolises, inviting viewers to consider how urban spaces shape our experiences, memories, connections, and sense of belonging.

The screening will be followed by a discussion with filmmaker Nadine Gomez.

About Nadine Gomez

Nadine Gomez is a Montréal-based filmmaker and podcaster who has been creating documentary films for mor than a decade. Her work explores urban space, memory, social conflict, migration, and collective identity. Her films include The Horse Palace (2012), Métro (2015), Exarcheia, The Chanting of Birds (2018), and Chronicle of a City (2025). She also co-produced the podcast J’aime Hydro (2019) with Théâtre Porte-Parole.
