Convocation 2026: Honoring Faculty Excellence at St. Lawrence University
Convocation is one of St. Lawrence University's most cherished traditions, bringing together faculty, staff, and members of the Laurentian community to celebrate the beginning of a new academic year while recognizing outstanding faculty achievements.
The St. Lawrence University community is invited to attend Convocation 2026 on Wednesday, August 26, at 4:30 p.m. in the Enchanted Forest, located behind Herring-Cole Hall between Park Street and University Avenue.
Convocation formally marks the opening of the academic year and celebrates the accomplishments of St. Lawrence faculty. The ceremony will welcome new faculty members, recognize those who have earned tenure and promotion, celebrate newly appointed endowed professorships, and honor the recipients of the John P. "Jack" Taylor Distinguished Career Service Award and the Thomas F. Coakley Distinguished Career Service Award.
