The St. Lawrence University Writers Series welcomed poet Aimée Baker '04 via on Thursday, Sept. 16. Baker's debut poetry collection, Doe, dramatizes the untold stories of missing and unidentified women across the United States and was selected as the winner of the 2016 Akron Prize. Professor Mark Sturges recently took his English class on a field trip to Cornell Cooperative Extension farm. Students learned about animal husbandry and how to line up to herd sheep from Livestock Resource Educator Betsy Hodge.
