Associate Professor and Co-Chair World Languages, Cultures, and Media Department Eloise Brezault hosted two renowned Senegalese artists whose work has been nourished by political and social activism to keep democracy alive in Senegal. The artists spent two days on campus, visiting classes and speaking with students about the importance of art and activism in their work.

Over Thanksgiving break Associate Professor of Religious Studies and Department Chairperson Damon T. Berry, will present his research at the Annual Meeting American Academy of Religion in San Antonio, Texas for two panels on the topics of religious nationalism and the contradictions of Christian Nationalism in the United States in the 21st century.
