    Weekend of Hoops!

It was a sweep of regional rival Clarkson as both women’s and men’s basketball came up with victories in the final doubleheader of 2023 at Burkman Gymnasium Wednesday. The women's team registered their second conference win of 2023-24 with a score of 73-61 over the Golden Knights. The win pushes their record back above .500 at 2-1 and improves their overall record to 2-5. The men’s team never trailed in either of their games this week—they beat Clarkson 73-66 then also took a victory against SUNY Geneseo in non-conference play 79-58. They are now tied for third in the Liberty League with a 6-3 record.

    102 Years of Candlelight

For nearly a century, Gunnison Memorial Chapel has been a beacon of unity and reflection. The chapel was illuminated by 250 candles and filled with our Laurentian community, who gathered from near and far, for the 102nd Annual Candlelight Service. This beloved tradition marks the end of the fall semester and fills us with hope for the year ahead. Let’s carry on the spirit of togetherness and send out radiant wishes for a bright 2024. View additional photos from the event on the St. Lawrence Facebook page.
