Saints Wrap Spring Seasons, Head to Liberty Leagues

It was a great weekend to rep the Scarlet and Brown! Saints men's and women's track and field teams each won the Intercollegiate Athletics Twilight Meet on Saturday to wrap up the regular season before heading to the league championships. The victories for the Saints continued with women's tennis heading to the semi-finals after beating Ithaca 5-4,  and women's lacrosse set to compete in the first round of the Liberty League tournament after defeating RIT 11-10  after dominating Nazareth 21-8 last week. Softball defeated Union 5-4  while baseball topped Clarkson 13-11 and 2-0 after defeating SUNY Plattsburgh 9-1 last week. For up-to-date schedules, news, and scores visit SaintsAthletics.com.

In celebration of 56 years of one of St. Lawrence's signature study abroad programs in Spain, Laurentians recently embarked on a two-week journey to explore past and new culinary traditions throughout Segovia, Salamanca, Barcelona, Malaga, Granada, and Madrid. On Monday August 28, President Morris sent a message to the community sharing that Piskor Professor Emeritus of Sociology Stuart Lee Hills GP’16 died on August 2 at the age of 90. For more than two decades at St. Lawrence, he served as a devoted teacher and mentor, and was a prolific researcher in his discipline. Read the Message.

Weekly Testing Clinic to Resume Normal Hours

The University's Weekly Testing Clinic hours have resumed their normal schedule. Testing will take place Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m.-12:15 p.m.  in Eben Holden (South Room). For up-to-date testing information, visit the Always Forward website. 

University to Offer Booster Clinic

The University is partnering with St. Lawrence County Public Health to offer a booster clinic Thursday, January 27.  Appointments will be required and priority will be given to students. Students should check their inboxes for an email from Health Services.

Weekend Wins for Saints Athletics; Winter Sports Continue

Saints Women’s Swimming and Diving secured their fourth straight dual meet victory over Saint Michael's on Saturday after defeating SUNY Potsdam on Friday, while Women’s Ice Hockey celebrated three key ECAC Hockey victories last week against Princeton (4-1), Union (5-1) and RPI (4-0). The weekend wins continued with the men’s and women’s track and field teams winning their respective home invitationals against SUNY Plattsburgh and SUNY Potsdam, while the men’s ice hockey team defeated Dartmouth 3-1. Women’s Squash swept Georgetown 9-0 following a 5-4 victory over Dickinson, while Men’s Squash defeated Dickinson 7-2 after topping Brown 8-1 last week. Men’s Basketball secured a 78-52 win over Clarkson while Women’s Basketball defeated William Smith 84-69 after securing a 61-43 win over RIT and topping Clarkson 54-36 earlier in the week. For up-to-date schedules, news, and scores visit SaintsAthletics.com.
