The Scarlet and Brown dominated the competition this weekend as women's lacrosse defeated Union 10-9 and Skidmore 15-9 while men's lacrosse defeated Skidmore 13-8 after dominating SUNY Plattsburgh 19-4 under the lights last week. The wins for the Scarlet and Brown continued with women's tennis beating Vassar 5-4, Saints baseball securing a pair of wins over Hobart (5-4,12-11), and Saints softball sweeping SUNY Potsdam (6-5, 6-4) in its home opener last week. During the UVM Quad meet, Emma Palumbo '25 won the 3,000-meter steeplechase for the women's track and field team while Matt Serrano '26, Matt Abell '13, Erik Geier '23, Timothy Boyce '25, and William Hauf '25 each won events to lead the men's team. Men's rowing opened the spring portion of its schedule with a pair of wins over UVM and a win over Middlebury. Lewis Anderson '25 was named a College Squash Association Second Team All-American for the second consecutive year and Marvin Sibanda '23 was named D3soccer.com's Midfielder of the Year and a First Team All-American.
