    Nearly 140 first-year and sophomore students attended events hosted by the First-Year Program, Sophomore Success Initiative, and Academic Advising in recognition of earning a 3.75 GPA or higher during the Fall 2022 semester.

    Saints Baseball Sweeps Competition, Saints Spring Sports Continue

    Saints baseball swung into the spring season with a sweep–defeating Old Westbury 1-0 and 13-9 during the Russmatt Invitational in Florida. The wins for the Scarlet and Brown continued with Saints men's lacrosse dominating Bates 16-7 and the University of Lynchburg 14-5 at the Mustang Classic in Maryland, as the women's team secured a 14-11 win over University of Rochester at home. Saints esports shut out Bellarmine University 2-0 after defeating Brewton-Parker College 2-0 and Marist College 4-2  last week.  Skating Saints defenseman Luc Salem '24 was named a Second-Team All-ECAC Hockey selection and Abhisheka David '26 and Nick Lynadker '26 were named 2022-23 Liberty League rookies of the year in women's squash and men's indoor track and field.     Join us to enjoy a concert by Jake Blount, an award-winning musician and scholar based in Providence, RI. He is half of the internationally touring duo Tui, a 2020 recipient of the Steve Martin Banjo Prize, and a two-time winner of the Appalachian String Band Music Festival (better known as Clifftop).

  5. Kathryn A. Morris Inaugurated as St. Lawrence University’s 19th President

    St. Lawrence University celebrated the inauguration of Kathryn A. Morris as its 19th president at an installation ceremony held on campus Saturday, October 22. In her inaugural address, she outlined her vision for new initiatives to ensure the 166-year-old University continues to thrive while preparing students for lives of global impact far into the future.
