  5. Federal Grant Supports Commitment to Student Mental Health and Well-Being

    St. Lawrence University has received a three-year, $287,061 grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) to support its Comprehensive Care Network (CCN) Project. The project will use evidence-based approaches to improve the identification and treatment of at-risk students and expand access to services that address mental health, suicide prevention, and substance misuse.

    For two years in a row, St. Lawrence University has ranked as #1 among small colleges and universities for the number of alumni serving as Peace Corps volunteers. 

  7. Faculty Awarded Mellon Wide Angle Learning Grant Stipends

    Five St. Lawrence University faculty have been awarded stipends from the Mellon Wide Angle Learning Grant project. These stipends will support the development of new health humanities courses for the university’s minor in Public Health.
