  2. Gallery Talk with Akwesasne Mohawk Artist Iakonikonriiosta

    Akwesasne Mohawk quilt artist Iakonikonriiosta will discuss her recent quilt, Tsi Kiontahsawen / In the Beginning, depicting the Haudenosaunee Creation Story, the quilt Tewasennahawi/We Carry Our Names, about Mohawk Identity, and the innovative sewing techniques employed in the quilt’s construction. This event is free and open to the public.

  3. Online Film Screening: My Buddha is Punk

    Directed by Andreas Hartmann, this film follows a young Burmese punk as he travels across the country to promote his philosophy- a symbiosis of Buddhism and punk that rejects religious dictates and political doctrine in the former military dictatorship of Myanmar.
