Jungjun Park

Dr. Jungjun Park is an Assistant Professor of Economics at St. Lawrence University.  Jungjun completed his Ph.D. in Financial Economics at the Claremont Graduate University and taught a broad spectrum of finance courses including financial management (both introductory and intermediate), investments, derivatives, foundation of finance, financial markets and institutions, and financial modeling in R at the School of Business at the University of California, Riverside, Cal Poly Pomona, and University of Pittsburgh. At SLU, Jungjun teaches Investments and Applied Portfolio Analysis. His research focuses on the impact of non-normal (higher-moment) risks on asset markets and on how machine learning (ML) can be applied to quantitative finance research using cutting-edge methods. Jungjun holds the Data Science for Investment Professionals Certificate from CFA Institute.
