Jesse Littleton

Assistant Director Outdoor Program Outdoor Program
Jesse Littleton

Jesse was born in the Finger Lakes region of New York and grew up in the country, playing in the woods, cutting firewood and making maple syrup. Whether intentionally or otherwise, that upbringing instilled a love for the outdoors and a certain level of “grit” that he carries into his work today.

After graduating from St. Lawrence in 2007 with a degree in Philosophy, Jesse spent the following two decades developing as a climber, skier, and educator. He earned a Master’s Degree in Experiential Education from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2015 and has worked in outdoor education ever since. Jesse is particularly interested in the ways outdoor experiences shape our understanding of ourselves, our relationships with others, and our sense of place. He still enjoys climbing and skiing and is now honing his craft as a dad to three daughters. Jesse is excited to return to the North Country and continue exploring.
