Garrett Sopko

Assistant Director Outdoor Program
Garrett Sopko

Garrett grew up in Brooklyn NY, where he was lucky enough to have parents willing to get him and his sisters out of the city, initiating their love for the outdoors. Later as a student at St. Lawrence University Garrett realized that working in the outdoors was his passion. He graduated with a BA in Environmental Studies and Sociology with a minor in Outdoor Studies. Garrett was also a student guide for the Outdoor Program, and an Adirondack Semester Alum. Since graduating from St. Lawrence University Garrett has continued to work in the outdoor industry, from Ski Patrolling in Red Lodge Montana, and Brighton Resort Utah, to Raft Guiding on the Yellowstone and Rogue Rivers. Garrett is excited to be back at St. Lawrence, and to rediscover all that the Adirondacks have to offer.
