Dr. Cristian Armendariz-Picon studies the origin and evolution of the universe. He is particularly interested in the nature of dark energy and dark matter, and in the origin of the initial inhomogeneities that later became the galaxies and clusters that fill our universe. Dr. Armendariz-Picon been teaching in the St. Lawrence Physics department since 2016.
