Ceyda Onaran Kartal holds Bachelor’s and Master of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering. After graduation, she worked for five years as an Environmental Health and Safety Engineer in the textile industry. She later earned a second Master of Science degree in Risk Control and worked as an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist at the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point.
After moving to the North Country, Ceyda joined St. Lawrence University, where she served as an Administrative Assistant, Adjunct Faculty Member, and Off-Campus Summer Program Coordinator. Currently, she works as the Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator at St. Lawrence University.
