Aaron Todd joined University Advancement as Associate Director for Annual Giving in August, 2025, with a focus on annual giving for athletics. He will be working with Advancement colleagues to build on the success of the Here We Go Saints Giving Challenge and to launch the Scarlet and Brown Athletics Giving Club.

A Canton native, Aaron came to St. Lawrence as an Augsbury North Country Scholar and graduated with a BA in English Writing. Aaron has been back at St. Lawrence since 2016, spending five years in Athletics as the Assistant Athletic Director for Communications, and four years at the Center for Career Excellence, where he helped plan and execute the SLU Connect and LINC Mentor programs. Prior to his return, Aaron served as the managing editor at Information Technology Systems/Casino City/GPWA in Newton, Massachusetts, and held roles in athletics communications and marketing at Bates College and Merrimack College and athletics fundraising at Brown University.

An award-winning storyteller, Aaron's St. Lawrence Magazine feature "As One" was selected for recognition by the NCAA and D3SIDA in the spring of 2020, and a video he produced helped Thomas Caulfield '17 earn the 2017 NCAA Division III Sportsmanship Award. Additionally, he won The Howl Grand Slam story telling competition, sponsored by NCPR and the Adirondack Center for Writing, in 2019, and returned to the Grand Slam stage as a finalist in 2023.

Aaron and his wife Wendy live in Canton, and are the proud parents of Charlie ’29, Brendan and Lily.
