Kayla Williams & Friends Performance

- Peterson-Kermani Performance Hall Kayla Williams, along with Ellie Pruneau, Dan Pappalardo, and Zach Brown, will perform traditional pieces as well as music by Max Bruch, Wayne Shorter, Debussy, William Grant Still Jr./ Miles Davis, and her own compositions with Chris McCarthy. The event is free, open to the public, and available via livestream.

Saints Celebrate Anniversaries, Wins, and New Captains for the 2024-25 Season

Field Hockey—St. Lawrence field hockey celebrated its 50th anniversary Saturday with a commanding 4-1 victory over Oswego State.

Men’s Soccer—The men’s soccer team claimed the Mayor’s Cup with a 4-0 win over Hartwick after a 1-1 draw with Oneonta earlier in the weekend. The offense surged as the Saints found the back of the net four times to secure the title.

Women’s Tennis— Women’s tennis earned four draw championships on the final day of the Union Invitational in Schenectady. In the B draw, sophomore Yvette Karera secured her title with a comeback win 2-6, 6-1, 10-4. Yvette also teamed up with her sister, sophomore Ariane Karera, to win 8-4 in the A doubles draw, to advance to the final. The Karera sisters claimed another 8-4 victory against teammates junior Molly Jespersen and first-year Eleanor McDermed, giving Yvette her second draw win of the tournament.

Hockey—Saints women’s and men’s hockey announced their captains for the upcoming season. Graduate student Anna Segedi will serve as captain for the women’s team, with graduate student Kristina Bahl, senior Abby Hustler, and graduate student Melissa Jeffries as alternates. For the men’s team, senior Mason Waite, senior Philippe Chapleau, senior Drake Burgin, and senior Ty Naaykens will wear the ‘C’ this season.
