Matinee Performance by The Alexander String Quartet Wed, Oct 18 at 12pm - 1 hour Peterson-Kermani Performance Hall Join the Alexander String Quartet for their upcoming performances with their newest member, Yuna Lee, succeeding Frederick Lifsitz in the second violin chair. The concert is free, open to the public, and in-person. October 18 from noon-1 p.m. October 19 from 7-8:30 p.m.

A Weekend of Winning! The Women's Soccer Team kicked off the weekend with a home game victory against Vassar College, winning 1-0. They continued their winning streak on Saturday, triumphing over Bard College with a score of 2-0. The Men's Soccer Team also secured a 5-0 victory against Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York. To cap off the weekend, the Women's Hockey Team secured a 3-0 win against the University of Vermont For up-to-date schedules, news, and scores visit SaintsAthletics.com.

Partial Eclipse Over Campus During the mid-semester break, St. Lawrence University Eclipse Center and students from the Society of Physics hosted a Partial Solar Eclipse Viewing on the Java Quad. During this extraordinary spectacle, the moon partially covers the sun's disk, resulting in temporary dimming of sunlight and brightness in its path. It was an afternoon of cosmic celebration, with telescopes, lawn games, music, and snacks, and of course, seeing the entire partial eclipse—they even identified a sunspot!
