Young Alumni at Work: Fiscally Responsible There is no shortage of experts in the business and finance world who also identify as Laurentians. It is one of the reasons St. Lawrence’s New York City Semester—not limited to finance—can be transformational for those getting a foot in the door. These are just two of the hundreds of examples of young alumni excelling at work and serving as role models for how to keep St. Lawrence competitive in the marketplace.

Young Alumni at Work: Media Spotlight Alumni know that all students at St. Lawrence must achieve a level of excellence in writing and rhetoric as a critical component to career preparedness, regardless of their major. Communications is the key for those alumni who have delved into professional spaces that rely on this expertise.

Faculty Focus-December 12, 2022 Faculty members put their knowledge into action so students and others are able to benefit from it. Recently, faculty presented their creative work on stage, during conferences, and in published research articles.

Physics Majors Present Posters and Demonstrations Earlier this semester, Dr. Munir Pirbhai gave the students in his Phys-317 Instrumentation Lab a list of experiments to explore and gave them two minutes to choose one that sounded interesting, without looking up any details. They recently shared their findings.

Annual Community Physician Reception Dr. Cynthia Mondesir, Dr. Heather Jones, Dr. Jillian Bartling, and Dr. Tim Atkinson served as panelists for Foundations of Medicine and pre-health students at the annual Community Physician Reception.

Skating Saints Sweep Weekend  It was a great weekend to be a Saint! Men's ice hockey swept the competition with a 4-0 win over Brown University on Saturday after skating to a 2-1 win over Yale University on Friday. The wins for the Scarlet and Brown continued with men's basketball defeating Geneseo 85-70 on the road while women's basketball topped Clarkson 64-54 at home last week. For up-to-date schedules, news, and scores visit SaintsAthletics.com.

101 Years of Candlelight As the fall semester draws to a close, Gunnison Memorial Chapel was filled with the glow of candlelight and the warmth of our community during the 101st Annual Candlelight Service.
