Celebrating Student Scholarship and Creativity After spending a year or more investigating topics that spark their curiosity and motivate them to dig deeper, St. Lawrence students presented their research findings and showcased their talents during this year's Festival of Science, Scholarship, and Creativity on Friday, April 29.

St. Lawrence Staff Member Earns Regional Award St. Lawrence Executive Director of Campus Services and Outreach René Thatcher was named the inaugural recipient of the Mark Berman Community Outreach Award, recognizing her commitment to uniting people in the field of higher education.

St. Lawrence Recognizes Moving-Up Day Award Winners St. Lawrence University announced its 2021-22 Moving-Up Day academic award winners, as well as Phi Beta Kappa and Omicron Delta Kappa’s newest inductees on Saturday, April 30.

St. Lawrence Honors Retirees, Anniversaries St. Lawrence University recognized faculty and staff retirements and celebrated employee anniversaries at a ceremony recognizing a combined total of 175 years of service to St. Lawrence from those marking their 25th anniversary—and a staggering 977 years of service among our retirees.

SLU Writers Series Presents Poet J. Drew Lanham Thu, May 5 at 8pm - 1 hour 30 minutes Peterson-Kermani Performance Hall - Masks are required The Writer's Series is pleased to welcome J. Drew Lanham, an award-winning poet and an alumni distinguished professor of wildlife ecology in the Forestry and Environmental Conservation Department at Clemson University. This reading is supported in part by the Sandra Nelson Memorial Poetry fund.

Saints Shatter Records; Head to Liberty League Championships The Saints track and field teams dominated the Intercollegiate Twilight Meet as Kimberly Merchant ’22 set a program record in the discus and several Saints secured top spots in their competitions as they head into the Liberty League Championships this weekend. Women’s lacrosse is headed to the Liberty Leagues after defeating RIT 21-14 to set a new program record for wins in a season and securing a 16-13 victory over Nazareth while men’s tennis beat Ithaca 6-3 after dominating SUNY Oswego 9-0 on the road. Saints Baseball defeated Skidmore 15-5 and 18-8 in a doubleheader after securing a 22-6 win over SUNY Canton 22-6 earlier in the week. Over the weekend, the softball team concluded its regular season while the men’s and women’s rowing and golf teams closed their respective seasons during the Liberty League Championships.  For up-to-date schedules, news, and scores visit SaintsAthletics.com.

Tapping Into Tradition A beloved campus tradition returned to our campus during Moving-Up Day. The Omicron Delta Kappa honor society tapping ceremony welcomed several new members in recognition of their scholarship, leadership, service, and creativity.
