A Community from Day One
Our First-Year Program (FYP) is designed to support your transition from high school to college. During your first semester, you’ll live alongside classmates in your FYP course, making it much easier to collaborate and learn together.
An Innovative Approach to the Liberal Arts
Our curriculum combines the core values of the liberal arts with cutting-edge new majors like finance, data science, and digital media and film, ensuring you’ll be prepared to pursue your passions AND make an impact after graduation.

We can’t wait to see the way you’ll share your interests and explore new ones with our community. There are over 150 student clubs and organizations—from Pickleball Club to Cheese Club to SLU Funk and everything in between.
Study Around the Globe
Over 61% of students study off campus for at least a semester. Some of our signature programs include the Kenya Semester, the London Programme, and the Adirondack Semester, where you’ll live off-the-grid in a yurt and enjoy spectacular views like this one.
Be a Part of Tradition
Traditions bring us together, remind us of our history, and connect us across generations. One of our favorites is the annual Route 11 Rivalry game, when we take on our rivals and neighbors the Clarkson Golden Knights.
