Patrick Rickert

Dr. Patrick Rickert earned his PhD from Washington University in St Louis in 2023. His primary research focuses on the evolution of congressional institutions, particularly the relationship between parties and committees in the House of Representatives. Other areas of research interest include the political participation and underrepresentation of people with disabilities and public attitudes toward congressional process. His teaching interests are American national institutions, like Congress and the presidency, disability politics, American political development, research design, and quantitative methods.
