    St. Lawrence Ranked Among Best Colleges in America by U.S. News and World Report

    U.S. News and World Report released its annual “Best Colleges” rankings on Sept. 24 with St. Lawrence once again recognized among the nation’s top liberal arts colleges.

    Getting to Know Our Sustaining Saints

    “Sustaining Saints” is our giving society that recognizes Laurentians who make consecutive annual gifts to the University for at least three years (or, for our newest alums, each of two years after graduation). Lynda Croker Moran ’69 and Bob Moran ’69 of Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, have made annual gifts every year since graduation. Here, in Lynda’s words, are some highlights from her life as a Laurentian.

    Creative Resistance: Shaping the Electoral Process through Urban Guerilla Poetry and Street Arts

    - Winston Room - Student Center Senegalese artists Simon and Docta, invited to the St. Lawrence campus through the support of the Arts Collaborative grant, will share their experiences from Senegal. They will discuss how art forms like music, hip hop, graffiti, poetry, and theater can play a pivotal role in the democratic process.

    Here We Go Saints 2024

    Here We Go Saints 2024 is officially underway now until Wednesday, September 25 at 8 p.m.! This fourth annual fundraising drive supports Saints Athletics, including our 35 teams and key areas of support like athletic medicine, strength and conditioning, athletic communications, and more!  Learn about this year’s "Saintly Incentives," featuring custom tailgating gear, and our "Scarlet & Brown Rewards" that our teams are competing for with donor participation, by visiting the Here We Go Saints Headquarters.

    New Cybersecurity Major at St. Lawrence University Prepares Students for a Complex Digital World

    St. Lawrence University has announced the launch of a new Bachelor of Science degree in cybersecurity, a technically rigorous and interdisciplinary program developed to meet the fast-growing demand for cybersecurity professionals who are well-rounded problem-solvers ready to tackle complex cyber threats with both deep technical expertise and ethical reasoning.

    Alumni Light Up Campus at Reunion Weekend 2025

    More than 800 alumni returned to campus last week to participate in St. Lawrence’s 2025 Reunion Weekend, which welcomed Laurentians celebrating their first, fifth, 30th, 50th, and Honor Guard classes milestones.

    St. Lawrence Board of Trustees Elects Five New Members

    The St. Lawrence University Board of Trustees is pleased to welcome three new members for six-year terms: Taylor Castator ’15, Grant H. Cornwell ’79, and Christopher P. Yoshida ’00. The board is also delighted to welcome young alumni Oscar Acevedo ’19 and Sarah Evarts ’17 as McCurdy-Sprague trustees, with a term of four years. Our new members begin their service on June 1.

    Five Alumni to Receive 2025 Awards from Alumni Executive Council

    St. Lawrence University’s Alumni Executive Council has announced that John M. Greenwood '75, P'13, Katherine Kretow Eyre '78, and Jack '11 and Emily Tulip Droppa '09 will receive Alumni Citations for their dedication and service to the Laurentian Community, while Mary Jane Potter '75 will receive the Sol Feinstone Award for Humanitarian Service.
