    Jonathan Kent ’04 Will Lead Enrollment at His Alma Mater

    Following a national search that drew a highly competitive pool of candidates, St. Lawrence University is welcoming back one of its own. Jonathan Kent ’04 returned to his alma mater to begin his new role as Vice President for Enrollment Management and Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid on July 7.

    Campus Barbecues Make Summer Wednesdays Sizzle

    St. Lawrence University and Cornell Law School Collaborate on Early Admission Program

    St. Lawrence University has entered a partnership with Cornell Law School to collaborate on a Law Early Admission Program (LEAP), which will enable high-achieving undergraduates to attain their undergraduate and law degrees in six years instead of the traditional seven.

    Alumni Trip to Spain in Spring 2023

    In April 2023, St. Lawrence will celebrate 56 years of the Spain program by offering Laurentians an exclusive opportunity to learn about the diverse culinary traditions of the country. Participants will enjoy foods and wines from four different regions while learning about the changing cultures that make up Spain’s multicultural mosaic. The deposit deadline is October 1.

    Weekend Wins for the Scarlet and Brown

    It was a great weekend to be a Saint! The football team brought the Hoffman Cup back to Canton after securing a 30-19 win over Norwich on Saturday while men's soccer defeated Hartwick 3-2 after tying its program record with a 9-0 win over SUNY Canton last week. Women's soccer topped Farmingdale 1-0 to remain undefeated while Jackson Hamilton '23 won the Hamilton Short Course Invitational as Saints men's cross country secured the team title and Alli Sibold '24 won the 4k race to take the women's team to a victory. The men's tennis team wrapped up the St. Lawrence Fall Classic with sophomores Broderick Pinto, John Hill-Edgar, and Edvin Strandberg securing individual victories.     Mokuhanga Demonstration

    - Noble Center Maurer Printmaking Studio, Room 101 In conjunction with the exhibition Wood Paper Ink, this demonstration will be an introduction to the printing process of mokuhanga, which uses water-based pigments, a kento registration method, and hand printing with a baren, a circular hand tool with a flat face that is used to burnish the paper and lift ink from the block.

    De-Stress with Pets

    St. Lawrence students started off their weekend with furry friends! Every Friday afternoon the Office of Wellness Education hosts ‘Pet De-Stress,’ an event gathering a group of friendly dogs or cats to campus, eager to meet students and give them plenty of love.
