Women’s Cross Country Clinches Liberty League Title Four Saints finished in the top 10 to lead the women’s cross country team to the Liberty League conference title on Saturday, while the men’s squad finished fourth overall. Women’s Ice Hockey shut out RPI on Friday (3-0) and Union a day later (4-0) to earn two big ECAC Hockey wins as the Saints kicked off conference action. Football celebrated a 34-10 victory over the University of Rochester on Saturday, while the men’s soccer team defeated Hobart in OT to claim the No. 5 seed in Liberty League playoffs. Volleyball went 2-1 last week with wins over SUNY Potsdam and Keuka but falling to SUNY Cortland on Saturday, while the women’s field hockey team defeated St. John Fisher 3-2 on Saturday. Make a Difference DayOn Saturday, Oct. 23, more than 400 St. Lawrence students, in collaboration with local organizations such as the Canton Chamber of Commerce, St. Mary’s Church, Coakleys, and Seacomm Federal Credit Union, stepped up for the North Country community by volunteering to help area parks, schools, farms, churches, and homes as part of our Make a Difference Day event.
