    From Victory to Victory

    The Saints had an impressive week in sports, beginning with the women's soccer team winning 3-1 against Plattsburgh College and the men's soccer team securing a 1-0 victory over Clarkson University. At Appleton Arena, the women's hockey team dominated with a 7-2 win against Providence College on Friday and a 2-0 victory on Saturday. Meanwhile, both the men's hockey and men's soccer teams faced Rochester Institute of Technology, resulting in the men's hockey winning 4-3 and men's soccer securing a 1-0 victory.

    Faculty and Staff Honored, Awarded Promotions at Annual Convocation Ceremony

    Marking the start of a new academic year, faculty, staff, and university personnel gathered to celebrate the contributions of all members of the St. Lawrence community. The University recognized faculty who earned tenure and promotions during the annual Convocation and honored several employees with awards for their outstanding service.

    Federal Grant Supports Commitment to Student Mental Health and Well-Being

    St. Lawrence University has received a three-year, $287,061 grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) to support its Comprehensive Care Network (CCN) Project. The project will use evidence-based approaches to improve the identification and treatment of at-risk students and expand access to services that address mental health, suicide prevention, and substance misuse.

    Scarlet and Brown Triumph

    Starting off strong this week the men's golf team took the win with Cooper Evans placing first place at the Clarkson Invitational, his second career title from the Golden Knights. Saints football followed suit with a 14-7 home victory against Norwich University. In women’s soccer, Lilly Stone 26 and Zoe Rogan 27 tallied first career goals, defeating Castleton University and closing the Manchester Cup with a 3-0 win.
