    Athletics Atrium Named in Honor of George W. Karpus ’68

    George W. Karpus ’68 was honored during Laurentian Weekend 2022 for his prolific contributions to St. Lawrence University and its Division III athletics program. As alumni, parents, and others came back to enjoy the weekend celebrations, nearly 200 Laurentians gathered for the naming of the George W. Karpus ’68 Atrium.

    Each One Inspired: Haudenosaunee Art Across the Homelands from the New York State Museum

    - Richard F. Brush Art Gallery The St. Lawrence University Richard F. Brush Art Gallery will present an exhibition showcasing the artwork of 53 contemporary artworks by Haudenosaunee artists from all six Haudenosaunee Nations beginning Monday, Oct. 17 through Saturday, Dec. 10.

    - Campus Wide As part of National Substance Abuse Prevention Month, the JED committee, Seaway Valley, the Barista and other groups on campus will be hosting a variety of events to bring awareness about substance misuse and its role in people's lives.     Artist's Lecture by Grant Wade Jonathan

    - Griffiths Arts Center Room 123 Each One Inspired artist Grant Wade Jonathan is a Tuscarora-raised beadwork artist and an attorney, who currently works in the EPA's American Indian Environmental Office in New York City.  When he is not assisting the Haudenosaunee in addressing their environmental concerns, he pursues his other passion of Tuscarora raised beadwork design. Join him for a lecture.

    Weekend Wins for the Saints

    The Scarlet and Brown topped the competition as Saints women's soccer shut out Bard 4-0 on the road and men's soccer defeated Bard 3-2 at home on Friday.
