Football: Senior quarterback Will Lederman was named MVP after leading the Saints to a season-opening 19–3 win over Norwich Friday night, securing the Hoffman Cup for the fifth straight year. Lederman threw for 144 yards on nine completions, including a 41-yard pass and a touchdown. He also rushed for 16 yards and added a second touchdown on the ground.
Women’s Tennis: Senior Molly Jespersen won the A draw flight championship as the women’s tennis team wrapped up the Union Invitational with third-flight victories. Jespersen also claimed her second A draw win in doubles, teaming with senior Angelica Aksdal-Jensen for back-to-back 8–3 wins in the semifinal and final. Jespersen was named Liberty League Singles Performer of the Week and, alongside Aksdal-Jensen, Doubles Team of the Week.
Field Hockey: Senior Mayson Blondek scored twice, and first-year goalie Petra Gamage made seven saves to help secure a team shutout with senior Elizabeth Walsh as the Saints earned their second consecutive 5–0 win Saturday at Moravian. St. Lawrence now holds a 3–0 record and has yet to concede a goal in 2025.
Women’s Soccer: Juniors Barrett Freeman and Kiki D’Anza each scored, while junior Chloe Bourque added two assists to lead the Saints to a 2–1 victory over Nazareth on Saturday at Sandy MacAllaster Field.
Men’s Hockey: Greg Gardner joined the men’s hockey coaching staff as Assistant Coach ahead of the program’s centennial season. Gardner brings over 20 years of collegiate and professional experience, known for developing elite goaltenders and contributing to championship-level teams. He arrives from Mercyhurst University, where he served as Associate Head Coach from 2014 to 2025.
Men’s Golf: Senior Jimmy King cut four strokes off his round one score to lead the Saints to a second-place finish at the St. Lawrence Fall Invite at the Oliver D. Appleton Golf Course. King shot two over par for the weekend, climbing four spots in round two to finish third overall with a 146.
Women’s Golf: Sophomore Sadie Cumming tied for third after round one with a 77, birdieing holes nine and 18. She followed with an 80 in round two to hold her position and finish the St. Lawrence Fall Invite with a 157 at the Oliver D. Appleton Golf Course.
