"Fractured Time" performance by the Hinge Quartet- Peterson-Kermani Performance Hall Hinge Quartet presents "Fractured Time," a program of new and recent works that blur the boundaries between contemporary classical, electronic music, and avant-garde rock. This concert showcases the wide range of diverse music that composers are writing today, from Cole Reyes's beautiful ambient soundscapes, to the intense and brutal noise sculptures of Sam Pluta, to the rigorously freeform improvisations of Anthony Braxton, to the indie-rock inspired textures of Molly Joyce. Supported by the Birdsong Fund for Visiting Music Faculty. |
