An Evening With Adia VictoriaSt. Lawrence University and the Ken Okoth '01 Black American Music Project will welcome Adia Victoria to campus for an evening concert on Friday, September 26, at 7 p.m. in the Peterson-Kermani Performance Hall. The event is free, open to the public, and will be livestreamed. |

Saints Show Out at InvitationalsMen’s Cross Country: Senior Nick Lyndaker won the Hoffmann Invitational for the first time, pulling away in the final 400 meters to finish in 25:14.8—five seconds ahead of the runner-up. After placing third in 2023, this marked his best result at the meet and helped SLU take third in the team standings. He was named Liberty League Performer of the Week. Volleyball: The volleyball team earned two 3-1 wins over VTSU Castleton and SUNY Potsdam at the SLU Triad, playing in front of large Laurentian Weekend crowds. Women’s Golf: Sophomore Sadie Cumming led SLU at the Union Invitational, finishing second with a two-round score of 158. She shot 81 on Saturday and improved to 77 Sunday, while all five Saints lowered their scores in the final round. Women’s Cross Country: St. Lawrence placed third at the 33rd annual Ronald C. Hoffmann Invitational, kicking off a busy home season with a strong team showing on familiar campus trails during Laurentian Weekend. Men’s Tennis: Sophomores Sebastían Boada and Ryan Tingley won the B doubles title at the Garnet Charger Invitational. They beat Christian Chowder and Daniel Saxe 8-6 to reach the final, where they topped teammates senior Aidan Baracao and first-year Bennett Stout 8-5 in an all-SLU championship match. Women’s Hockey: Junior Kassidy Lawrence made 48 saves and first-year Rylan Haslam scored the lone goal to lift SLU to a 1-0 exhibition win over No. 5 Colgate on Friday in Hamilton.
