The Frederic Remington Art Museum is pleased to invite student artists at Clarkson University, St. Lawrence University, SUNY Plattsburgh, and SUNY Potsdam to submit entries to the 2024 College Student Juried Art Exhibit. Artworks in all visual media using any combination of materials and techniques are welcome. Accepted artworks will be displayed in the Richard E. Winter Gallery and the Torrey Family Gallery at the Frederic Remington Art Museum and online at fredericremington.org.
The St. Lawrence University Richard F. Brush Art Gallery will present an exhibition showcasing artwork created by Haudenosaunee (Iroquois), Canadian Inuit, and Peruvian artists beginning Friday, April 22 through Saturday, June 4.
Alan Draper, a senior professor of government at St. Lawrence University with more than 36 years of teaching experience, was recently selected as the Michael W. Ranger ’80 and Virginia R. Ranger P’17 Professor in Government. He is the first to be chosen for this professorship and will serve a seven-year term.
