I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of New York. I moved to Canton in 2005 and started working at the Diana B. Torrey Health and Counseling Center at St. Lawrence University in 2008. My areas of clinical focus include identity development, social relationships, anxiety, depression, self- esteem, and recovery from trauma. In counseling, I establish a collaborative approach with clients and focus on creating a nonjudgmental setting to address their concerns. The theoretical approach I take in counseling is an integration of interpersonal, humanistic, and cognitive behavioral techniques.
