Tara joined St. Lawrence as the university’s photographer in 2000.
As the Director of Visual and Creative Strategy, Tara is responsible for the visual and creative expression of the St. Lawrence University brand. She is the champion of visual and creative storytelling and responsible for the all aspects of the development of strategy, planning, and execution of visual and creative communications. Tara manages the production of high-quality visual and creative projects that support the University’s brand including the St. Lawrence magazine, publications, social media posts, the website, and news releases.
Tara serves as the primary university photographer and has been a professional photographer since 1997. Before coming to St. Lawrence, she was a staff photographer at the Olean Times Herald, a daily newspaper in Olean, N.Y.
Tara has a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication from St. Bonaventure University.
