Shannon Marlatt

Shannon Marlatt is the Associate Director for Exploration & Belonging at the Center for Career Excellence. She leads the CCE's belonging-focused programming, manages the CCE interns and works to produce NetVUE programming. Shannon also serves as one of CCE's career coaches and is passionate about helping students throughout their career journeys, no matter where they are in the process. 

Shannon joined the CCE staff in December, 2023, as Assistant Director of Early Career Engagement and spent her first year and a half at St. Lawrence developing career programs and outreach for first-year students, second-year students, and transfers before taking on her new role in the summer of 2025.

Shannon has two bachelor's degrees from SUNY Geneseo in English and Communication, and also an M.S. Ed. from Alfred University in College Student Development. Prior to working at St. Lawrence, Shannon worked at Clarkson University as the Assistant Director of HEOP, LSAMP, CSTEP, and McNair. She is passionate about mental health, DEIB work, and positively connecting with others.
