Sean Collins

In the Fall 2019, I was lucky enough to join the Laurentian community as a graduate student in the Masters of Arts in Leadership program and a Graduate Assistant Coach in Track and Field. The 2019-2020 year expressed the kindness, care, resiliency, and compassion of St. Lawrence community and I am excited to contribute to campus as a Residential Coordinator. I am currently the Residential Coordinator for First-Year and Sophomore Communities, specifically supporting the buildings and residents of Dean Eaton, Gaines, Hulett, Jencks, and Whitman Halls.
Prior to arriving at St. Lawrence, I worked with Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies Summer Institutes in the summers of 2016-2018. During those summers, I served in residential roles supporting high achieving high school students, eventually supervising a team of 35 residential staff members and over 400 students. I also graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2018 with a B.A. in Mathematics. At Penn, I served as a Resident Advisor for two years supporting first-year halls, as an athlete and manager for Varsity Track and Field, as a Penn Anti-Violence Educator, within our undergraduate LGBT communities, and with a leadership pre-orientation program. The student life experiences I participated throughout my career have built my own understanding of myself and my passion for helping create positive campus experiences.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing disc and miniature golf, board games, and watching reality TV. In the winter, I am excited to learn how to cross country ski. Overall, I could not be more excited to support our Laurentian community. I look forward to connecting with you about your experience here.
