Olivia White '17 joined the University Communications team in April of 2020, bringing experience from across the marketing and communications landscape, including public affairs, journalism, and advertising. She's crafted print and digital content for corporate communication frameworks, advocacy campaigns, and creative advertising campaigns on behalf of both start-ups and major national brands. Outside of higher education, she has also completed work on behalf of leading companies and organizations in healthcare, technology, and manufacturing. She has a deep love for writing and uses it to connect key audiences with the voices, places, and experiences that make St. Lawrence's story special in her current role as assistant director of marketing and content strategy. She also co-manages University Communications' Student Marketing Team, empowering current students to share stories that connect with prospective students and helping them understand how their work can make an impact for the University.
Olivia majored in English and government at St. Lawrence and served as editor-in-chief of The Hill News. She was secretary of the Irving Bacheller Society, the St. Lawrence chapter of the national English honor society, and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She was awarded the Douglas M. Brown Alumni Association Senior Award the spring of her senior year. In the time since graduating, she’s lived in London, Washington, D.C., and Buffalo, N.Y. Olivia currently resides in Buffalo where she works remotely for the University.
