Amanda joined the Office of Laurentian Engagement in September 2015. She is responsible for planning all non-presidential regional events, international Laurentian travel programs and for the coordination of on-campus event student management, including during St. Lawrence’s Homecoming and Reunion Weekends. Amanda serves on the Laurentians in Residence Planning Committee helping to bring alumni and parents from various backgrounds to campus for interactive career and professional programming with students, and as a co-advisor to the Student Alumni Association (SAA) developing on-campus strategies to educate students about the importance of engagement and philanthropy.
Previously, Amanda worked as assistant coach for the women’s rowing team while receiving her Master’s degree from St. Lawrence in 2015. Originally from Saranac Lake, NY, Amanda came to St. Lawrence as an Augsbury North Country Scholar and graduated in 2012 with a BS in biology and English. While at SLU she was a four year member of the women’s varsity rowing team and studied abroad in London.
