Taylor Huntley

Taylor earned his M.S. in Experiential Education from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Hailing originally from the Monadnock region of NH, he fostered a love of the northeast woodlands at an early age. Taylor believes in promoting academic success through augmenting the power of nature with human powered outdoor pursuits. His love of wilderness and simple living has brought him back to wild places again and again. After finishing his B.S. in Plymouth, NH he set off to instruct in the desert southwest and Rocky Mountains for Fort Lewis College Adventure Education, the National Outdoor Leadership School, Deer Hill Expeditions and a myriad of other guiding outfits. Taylor’s interests include backcountry travel, canoeing, skiing, educational philosophy, experiential and contemplative pedagogy, preparing delicious plant-based meals for friends and family, and international travel.
