Thriving in the Classroom is a daylong professional development workshop bringing together Academic Affairs and Student Life to support faculty in fostering wellbeing and attention in the classroom. Scheduled for January 12, this collaborative training connects course design and teaching practices with the SLU Thrive Initiative, building on the work introduced during May College 2025.
Thriving in the Classroom is a daylong faculty development program on January 12, designed to integrate student wellbeing and attention into teaching and learning practices. Participants will engage in workshops and discussions focused on SLU Thrives and The Attention Project, a campus initiative aimed at enhancing students’ capacity to attend to learning, course content, and self.
