Sustainability Program Students Attend Conference
Students in St. Lawrence University's Sustainability Program recently traveled to Central New York for a conference focused on organic farming and sustainable farming practices.
The Northeast Organic Farming Association's New York (NOFA-NY) Annual Winter Conference was held Jan. 17 -19 in Syracuse, N.Y., and gave St. Lawrence students the opportunity to connect with sustainability-minded farmers, gardeners, and consumers. The conference is one of the largest in the region with more than 1,100 attendees annually, plus more than 100 educational workshops and an approximate 80 trade show vendors.
