General Event

Take your learning outside the classroom!

Wild Rockies Field Institute (WRFI) gives you the opportunity to take your learning to the rural communities, Indigenous nations, and backcountry havens of the Rocky Mountain West. Earn upper-division credits taking interdisciplinary field courses on topics like Restoration Ecology in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, geography of Montana, natural history of the Colorado Plateau, studio art in the desert Southwest, and more! Connect with nature, earn credit, and grow your network! WRFI is academic in nature.
