“Service Dog Handlers in Labs: Overcoming Bias and Barriers”

In recognition of National Disability Employment Awareness month, Joey Ramp-Adams , who is a consultant specializing in accessibility in STEM, will be visiting St. Lawrence University on October 23rd and 24th. During her visit, she will be meeting with faculty, staff and students to discuss ideas regarding policies and benefits of anticipating and preparing for service animals in laboratories. She will also be sharing her experiences in helping develop best practices regarding service animals in laboratory settings.

On Monday, October 23rd, she will give a talk titled “Service Dog Handlers in Labs: Overcoming Bias and Barriers” from 5 – 6.15 PM in the Winston Room, Sullivan Student Center.
