St. Lawrence University will open the 2025-2026 academic year with its annual Convocation ceremony on Wednesday, August 27, at 4:30 p.m. in the Herring-Cole Grove. This formal academic tradition recognizes and celebrates the accomplishments of faculty and staff.
The event will welcome new faculty, recently tenured and promoted faculty, and those awarded endowed professorships. It also includes the presentation of the prestigious Louis and Frances Maslow Award, J. Calvin Keene Award, John P. "Jack" Taylor Award, and Thomas E. Coakley Award to exceptional faculty and staff.
Convocation brings the campus community together to celebrate academic excellence, professional achievement, and a shared commitment to learning.
