Weekend of Winning!This week, the Saints women’s hockey team started off strong with a 2-1 win over the University of Ottawa on Tuesday. The Scarlet and Brown later won 5-1 against Mercyhurst in the first of two games over the weekend. Their second match turned into a close game as the Saints were down by three points with only 1 minute and 17 seconds left in the game. Women's hockey scored three goals to tie the game and ultimately won in overtime, 6-5. The men's golf team also prevailed this weekend with a first-place win at the Oswego State Invitational. Like, “What can glacial striations in the North Country tell us about climate change?” Or, “How do you build an enigma machine?” While searching for answers and testing solutions alongside their faculty mentors, they gained hands-on experience and sharpened their skills as scientists and mathematicians. On Thursday September 28, President Morris sent a message to the community sharing that Pamela Shea died on September 5 at the age of 58. Dedicating 28 years as a building supervisor at St. Lawrence, she took the time to know students through her work. Read the Message.
