    Saints Swim to Victory; Seasons Continue in Full Force

    Saints women's swimming and diving dominated the competition this weekend. During a dual meet on Sunday, Maggie Wenger '24 and Katie Taberski '25 each won two events to lead the team to a 137-90 win over Saints Michael's while first-year Kevin Euyoque won the 200-meter butterfly for the men's team. Fiona Reiner '24, Lulu Rauch '25, Laura Bolduc '24, and Maggie Wenger '24 broke the Frank and Lee Augsbury Pool record in the 800-yard freestyle relay to lead the team to a 159-55 win over SUNY Potsdam on Friday. The wins for the Scarlet and Brown continued with men's squash securing a 7-2 win over the No. 26 Naval Academy while women's basketball defeated William Smith 99-84 and RIT 77-67 as the men's team beat RIT 69-64. During the Middlebury Winter Classic,  Michael Skutt '24 won the 3K and Eric Geier '23 won his 3rd straight 60-meter hurdles and Katherine Sheehy '23 won the 5,000 meters to lead the women's team. For up-to-date schedules, news, and scores visit SaintsAthletics.com.

    Week of Fun and Rivalry!

    Both men's and women's hockey teams went undefeated at Appleton Arena contests against Clarkson University. The St. Lawrence women's hockey team, ranked No. 9 nationally, went into their biggest weekend of the season and came out of it with a 1-0 win over No. 3 Clarkson in leg one of the Route 11 Rivalry. The men’s hockey team won their Saturday night game against the Golden Knights 2-1, jumping out with an early two-goal lead and sending 2,826 Saints fans into a frenzy. They held their lead into the third period for the win.

    Maggie Wenger '24, along with one of the Saints relay teams, broke St. Lawrence pool records Saturday, as the Saints women’s swimming and diving team took two victories in a host tri-meet over Saint Michael’s and Wells College. Wenger '24 beat the 100-meter free record with a time of 53.46. The 800-meter free relay team of Wenger '24, Lulu Rauch '25, Katie Taberski '25, and Laura Bolduc '24 beat that record with a time of 8:11.31.

    Men’s basketball won their eighth straight game, going 3-0 over the course of the week with victories over Clarkson, Bard, and Vassar.

    Portraying St. Lawrence!

    "Portraying St. Lawrence" honors the lives and contributions of three St. Lawrence community members, Margaret Kent Bass, Ernest M. Benedict, and Rev. Kathleen Buckley. During the public dedication ceremony we celebrated the honorees, their loved ones, and the artists by sharing their portraits with the entire St. Lawrence community.

    Weekend Wins and Broken Records for the Saints, Spring Sports Continue

    Over the weekend, both the men's and women's tennis teams celebrated a Senior Day sweep by shutting out Bard College 9-0. The wins for the Saints continued with baseball defeating Bard 16-6, softball shutting out Skidmore 3-0, men's lacrosse defeating Vassar 17-12, and women's lacrosse beating RPI 13-12. Men's golf topped Clarkson 303-312 in a single round while Mary Grace McCann '25 claimed the top spot for the women's golf team at the Martin and Wallace Invite in Cortland. During the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic, Matt Abell '23 broke the 3,000-meter steeplechase record that has stood since 1987 to lead the men's track and field team. For up-to-date schedules, news, and scores visit SaintsAthletics.com.

    Celebrating International Students Day

    Collectively, the New York Six schools enroll more than 1,000 international students from nearly every continent. This year, St. Lawrence hosted the third annual NY6 International Students Day, a weekend of activities and celebration in recognition of the many ways these students enrich life on our campuses and in our communities.
