The event is part of an international project called "Make Visible"–an ongoing, community-led project developed by New Zealand artist, curator, and activist Shannon Novak.

  5. Film Screening: Peace, Propaganda and The Promised Land

    "Peace, Propaganda and The Promised Land," directed by Sut Jhally, Bathsheba Ratzko, Kenyon King, and Kelly Garner, provides a striking comparison of U.S. and international media coverage of the crisis in the Middle East, zeroing in on how structural distortions in U.S. coverage have reinforced false perceptions of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. This is a campus-only event.

    As a welcome back celebration, the Sophomore Success Initiative is hosting two events exclusive to 2nd year students on Tuesday, August 22nd. Those are a meet-and-greet event with department chairs and program coordinators from 1-2 PM in Eben Holden along with a welcome back BBQ just for sophomores from 5-7 PM outside of Herring-Cole.
